AGM
The Annual General Meeting for Kiandra Pioneer Ski Club (1861) Ltd is typically held annually each February. The AGM is open to all KPSC members.
WORKING BEE
KPSC members volunteer their time throughout the year to conduct routine maintenance at the lodge in Perisher Valley. Twice a year we conduct major Working Bees in Autumn & Spring – these working bees help prepare the lodge for the winter ski season and the summer walking & mountain biking season. The working bees are co-ordinated by the maintenance team and are a continued tradition of the club and its’ members.

ANNUAL EVENTS
THE PERISHER CUP

The Perisher Cup started as a Perisher Valley inter-club team event is a unique, involving teams of four persons, each competing in three events – Giant Slalom, Cross Country and Jump. The best overall team result is awarded the Perisher Cup.
The Perisher Cup will be held on Sat 13th – Sun 14th of September 2025, in the valley. The Perisher Cup is one of the oldest and most prestigious ski competitions in Australia. First run in 1953, skiers represent their club as a team in discipline events – Giant Slalom, Cross County and Jump. 69 years on, and we are still teaming up and racing!
INTER SCHOOLS
The Interschools Snowsport Championships provides an opportunity for school students to experience competitive snow sports and to participate at either a recreational or competitive level. Students from across Australia, in Kindergarten/Prep to Year 12, compete for their school as part of a team or an individual in any of our nine discipline events.

Each year, over 7,000 school students from nearly 700 schools compete at Interschools events.
The event disciplines are Alpine, Ski Cross, Moguls, Snowboard GS, Snowboard Cross, Cross Country, and Ski and Snowboard Slopestyle. Students compete in divisons based on their year at school.
Competitors from all ability levels are encouraged to enter, with an emphasis on FUN and PARTICPATION. You can learn more about the Snow Australia Inter Schools competition at About – Snow Australia Interschools

THE BLUE COW CUP
The Blue Cow Cup is an important platform for all junior skiers to either test-the-waters of racing or show the others how it’s done!
Competing in Alpine and Skier-cross, this event (and a hand-full of others like it) have proved to be the testing ground where nearly ALL of Australia’s National team honed their skills and/or added the first silver to the trophy cabinet.
On August 5 and 6, courses across the resort area will play host to the age categories of Under 10, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 to test or develop their racing skills and a new generation of youth will step onto the scene with glory in their sights. Read more at Blue Cow Cup
