THE KIANDRA PIONEER SKI CLUB (1861) LODGE – PERISHER VALLEY

The KPSC (1861) Lodge is located in Pipit Place, Perisher Valley NSW Australia.
The lodge includes a large central lounge and communal dining area, centred around a grand granite fireplace. The deck has sweeping views across Rock Creek, towards Perisher central. We enjoy a generous well-equipped communal kitchen, allowing families & groups to prepare meals simultaneously; limited non-perishable supplies are held in the kitchen pantry. The lodge includes 7 bedrooms, providing accommodation to a maximum of 14 members & guests.

The KPSC Lodge has a large drying room and store/equipment room for skis, toboggans and snowboards.
During winter, the lodge is ski-in-ski-out, with a gentle 400m slope to the Quad-Express Chairlift. We are approximately 800m from the Ski-tube terminal and it is recommended guests book a 4-Site over snow for winter arrivals.
Outside of winter and snow seasons, members & guests can drive to the lodge – we are located closely to the Snowies Alpine Walk, Porcupine Rocks trail.

BOOKING POLICY
Bookings may be made by KPSC members via the website using the Member No# to login to the member portal.
Accommodation is available during seasonal periods; SUMMER/AUTUMN/SPRING and WINTER SHOULDER & WINTER PEAK. Seasonal periods are determined annually by the KPSC Committee. Winter bookings are open to members from 6am 1st March annually.
Winter bookings have a minimum of 1 week (stay) throughout March.
From April 1st, members may book Guests, and/or OS members for a minimum of 1 week (stay).
From May 1st, members may book single nights/ weekends for themselves, OS members and/or guests.
Summer / Autumn / Spring bookings are usually opened 6 weeks prior to season start.
Bookings by KPSC members must be done so in good faith.
The lodge exists for the use of members, and by invitation, their guests. The lodge helps the club to promote skiing and other alpine activities including but not limited to cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoe walking, bush walking and mountain biking, in line with our club charter.
Members, and their guests agree to Booking Terms & Conditions.
Good faith – ‘member stacking’ to secure multiple lodge rooms (beds) during peak &/or popular periods and later cancelling the member booking replacing with ‘guest/s’ is not acting in good faith. Members not acting in good faith, may have their bookings cancelled.

CANCELLATION
Members may cancel bookings via the Member Portal or contacting the KPSC Booking Officer.
Winter Season – Peak and Shoulder Cancellations:
• Cancellations made 8 weeks before the start date of the winter booking will be credited or refunded in full.
• Cancellations made 6 weeks before the start date of the winter booking a 75% of the total booking fee/accommodation charge will be credited or refunded.
• Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the start date of the winter booking will not be credited or refunded.
• Cancellations made within 6 or 4 weeks of the start date of the booking due to misadventure or illness; the member may apply to the committee via the Booking Officer for ‘special consideration’ credit or refund of booking. Booking officer may request evidence or supporting documents for special consideration. Credits or refunds after ‘special consideration’ are issued at the discretion of the KPSC Committee.
